Here’s a collection of ‘between the ears’ shots taken, whilst out horse riding in Africa. We all know some of the best views in the world are seen from the saddle and through the ears of a horse…. so here’s a few of our very best ones.

Meet Colin… Isabel used to pass this crazy croc each day on her ride to the stables – wouldn’t want to meet him on a dark night!

Fabulous shot of a territorial hippo letting us know how they feel about our approach! Experience exciting moments like this on horse safari in the Okavango Delta, Botswana.

These beauties never fail to leave you awestruck – they’re such unique animals. See them on horse safari in Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, or Zimbabwe.

Did you know: New-born giraffe can stand up just 30 minutes after being born.

Nothing can beat a ‘sundowner ride’. This beautiful shot was taken looking out across Cape Town, South Africa.

However, saying that… riding as the sun comes up isn’t half bad either! Wonderful scenes from Zimbabwe.

Looking out over the moonscapes of the Namib Desert on the wonderful mare, Elizabeth

I challenge you to find a more exciting moment in the saddle than viewing these majestic animals from horseback.

Did you know: Although the elephant trunk is really huge, weighing about 400 pounds, it is so dexterous it can pick up very tiny things including a single grain of rice.

Look at that rain forest. Just beautiful. See lush green scenes like this on horse safari in Uganda.

Feeling like you’re on set at the Lion King with this close up! Waiting for Mufasa and Scar to come around the corner!!

Another sundowner ride down the Thamalakane River in Maun, Botswana. Look at that sky.

The sense of freedom and exhilaration as you ride across the wide open plains of the Namib Desert is indescribable.
